Change!!
The one thing I think we can all agree upon is the Perception of Action taking place under the new Obama Administration.
There is a sense of movement and activity unlike anything I can recall since Ronald Reagan took over from the fumbling Jimmy Carter. Here again we have someone who promised change from the status quo and is taking maximum advantage of the political “honeymoon” most presidents enjoy.
It is probably fortunate for the U.S. and for the World economies that Obama brings a different view of the government’s role in stimulating and managing the national economy. I can’t imagine such activism under John McCain, or probably under any Republican for that matter.
We now see exactly how Mr. Obama goes about the business of implementing the “change” he sponsored during the political campaign. What remains to be seen is how effective these emergency measures will be in turning the economy around…or at least in hastening the “bottoming out.”
