GOP Fails MAJORITY of Americans
The GOP failed to support the President’s economic stimulus package. ![]()
Because the GOP consistently FAILS to support the interests of the MAJORITY of American voters, they will ALWAYS be the minority party.
Because the GOP has AGAIN put party loyalty and party line ahead of basic human needs, the GOP will again lose seats in Congress in 2010.
President Obama may have wanted to enjoy some semblance of bipartisanship, but there never was much chance that his Party would be able to bring many of the GOP stalwarts over to the other side of the aisle…not even to vote for a package that represents our “best” chance, yes, perhaps our ONLY chance to bring about economic recovery during the next two years.
And–two years from now, all those GOP Congressmen who voted against the stimulus package will have to answer to their constituents. Why do the Republican members of Congress shoot themselves in the foot? Over and Over again.
Did they not notice the election results? They LOST! American voters REJECTED their philosophies and did so overwhelmingly!
Well, thankfully, the party in power doesn’t have to depend upon bipartisanship to GET THINGS DONE.
Not everything in the stimulus package is perfect; not everything will work as touted; not everyone who wants a job will get one; not everyone will get a tax break the next two years;
BUT…AND THIS IS IMPORTANT: the MAJORITY will.

As much as I’d like to see these vermin in the minority forever, they are like cockroaches and they somehow manage to keep coming back. But Action Obama is doing his best to kick their miserable asses until they learn how to stop being such douchebags.

Partisan politics is meaningless. Democrats and Republicans work together to control the US political system. Change can only come when both parties’ are reduced to dust. Both Democrats and Republicans voted to trash our constitution with the patriot act. Both Democrats and Republicans voted to go to war in Iraq. Both Democrats and Republicans have signed off on the economic agenda that has brought us to the edge of another great depression. Every time I hear “my respected colleague from the other side of the isle” I want to vomit. If there is such a difference between these vermin, then why do they have this said respect?
Any disenchanted liberals or conservatives are more than welcome to take a look at the libertarian party - http://www.lp.org/ -
Libertarians typically enjoy things like freedom, not giving 35% of your money to the private banking industry known as the federal reserve, returning our tax system to a constitutional level, keeping our dollar from losing its value, really really good medicinal marijuana, not starting or provoking pointless wars, protecting American businesses in a global economy - and respecting the most important document in American politics today, the constitution.
This is totally off base.
We elected Obama on promises of change.
Some of those changes, as much as he is perceived as a “liberal” Democrat, were what true Conservatives have been calling for for years. Namely, getting lobbyists out of the administration, and carefully cutting pork and money directed toward special interest. The so-called stimulus, along wit the President’s budget, is nothing but pork to support a very large and powerful special interest, Unions, and especially public sector Unions.
Things that make “The City That Works” work are not going to work on a national level, especially with the stated goal being to kickstart the economy.

I would not call a 53% to 46% election result an “overwhelming majority”. It’s not a narrow margin of victory, but it certainly was not an overwhelming one either.
