HOW MANY TIMES CAN I VOTE?

red_x_mark.jpgWhat do you think this is, daughter of mine, some kind of reality TV show?

This year’s crop of new 18, 19, 20 and 21-year-olds will be voting in a Presidential Election for the first time in their lives.   Voter Registration drives amongst both major parties seek to bring a new generation into the election booth.  These “kids” may be in for a surprise.

Accustomed to voting ten times by text message and ten times on the internet for their favorite singer, dancer, baton twirler or ventriloquist, our kids might be SHOCKED to discover that they only get to vote ONCE!

Yes, it’s like, you know, history and government stuff, I mean, the constitution, YOU know? Like.

ONCE!  Like…what’s the point?

Now that was something I just never imagined one of our youth actually thinking. I had to BUZZ that one to Yahoo for a good one.

I think they just know about the Chicago-based concept of “vote early, vote often.”
